Dr. Kevin O’Connor

Kevin started Impact Physical Therapy and Performance, P.C. in 2018. He graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine in 2011, while competing on the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer team. Kevin has a background in sports performance as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and has a particular interest in treating sports and orthopedic injuries in athletes of all ages. Kevin is board certified under the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Kevin has had the pleasure of being able to work with professional athletes of the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, MLB, MLS, USL, and NFL.

Kevin is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Medical Level 3, Power Level 3, and Junior Level 2 provider, and has expertise in helping golfers play the game they love pain-free. Kevin’s interest in golf spiked when he finished physical therapy school and was able to start spending time to improve his game. He feels rewarded when he is able to find functional limitations in his clients that may be contributing to pain with their golf swing. He desires to promote health, wellness, and injury prevention with his clients in coaching them on their road to recovery and an enhanced physical lifestyle.

Dr. Alyson O’Connor

Aly started Impact Physical Therapy and Performance, P.C. in 2018. Originally from New York, Aly received her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She realized she could turn her love for helping people and her passion for health into a career by pursuing her physical therapy degree, and she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2015.

Aly moved to California shortly after and has worked with clients of all ages. She has experience in both outpatient (orthopaedic and sports injuries) and home health physical therapy. Aly is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and uses her expertise to create individualized exercise prescriptions for each client. She also utilizes this knowledge to create her own exercise programs for her workouts.

Aly strives to empower her clients to take their health and wellness into their own hands by providing personal, caring, and comprehensive education. She believes that this comes with quality time spent with clients and will help prevent future injuries/pain while improving overall quality of life.

Dr. Ryan Stuhr

A native to Newport Beach, California, Ryan Stuhr received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. For his undergraduate degree Ryan attended Chapman University in Orange County. Prior to becoming a physical therapist Ryan worked as a personal trainer specializing in sports specific training as well as clients with neurological conditions. Ryan has clinical experience working primarily with orthopedic conditions and athletes from high school to the professional level. A lifelong avid golfer, Ryan is always seeking to improve his performance and carries this passion into his work with all of his clients. Ryan’s biggest goal is to enable people to do what they love to the best of their ability while feeling great. 

Dr. Colin McGlynn

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Colin received his undergraduate and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nazareth College in upstate NY where he was a member of the men’s volleyball and basketball teams.  Since moving to California, Colin has taken up surfing, beach volleyball, and enjoys the year-round golf season.  He has clinical experience in a variety of settings including home health and outpatient orthopedics. He is most passionate about working with athletes of all ages and skill levels- with a recent focus on golf, baseball, and volleyball. Colin finds it rewarding to identify functional limitations that may be contributing to pain or inhibiting performance for athletes, especially golfers. He aims to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care for all of his clients to allow them to continue doing what they love.
